Groove Maestro started with a simple question.. why choose between a great DJ and live music when you can have both?

I’m Matt Dolliver, a professional saxophonist, pianist, DJ, and the founder of Groove Maestro. After years of performing everywhere from weddings and private events to clubs, festivals, and corporate functions, I realized that the moments people remembered most weren’t just the songs .. they were the surprises. A saxophone solo in the middle of a packed dance floor. A first dance that felt completely personal. A cocktail hour that felt like live music instead of background noise.

That’s what Groove Maestro is all about.

Today, I provide a modern entertainment experience that combines professional DJ services with live saxophone, giving couples and clients the best of both worlds. Every event is customized from start to finish, whether it’s an intimate wedding in the White Mountains, a lakeside celebration in Vermont, or a black-tie event in Boston.

Just as important as the music is the presentation. My DJ setup is intentionally sleek, clean, and compact, designed to complement your venue rather than take it over. No bulky booths or distracting equipment - just a polished, professional look that fits everything from rustic barns to luxury ballrooms.

Beyond the music, I offer premium sound systems for ceremonies and cocktail hours, wireless microphones for officiants and speeches, lighting packages, and enhancements that help transform your reception into an unforgettable experience. As Groove Maestro continues to grow, I’ll be adding even more upgrades and production options so couples can create an entertainment package that fits their vision perfectly.
